Electrolysis is the only medically approved form of permanent hair removal.

Hair Removal-

Electrolysis is a course of treatments that permanently removes hair growth when performed by skilled and experienced practitioners.

Electrolysis has the longest known track record together with the most effective results for permanent hair removal. Dr Charles Michel first used it successfully in 1875 to remove ingrown eyelashes. He discovered that once the follicle had been treated with electrolysis the hair was permanently destroyed.

For over 100 years, electrolysis has been recognised as a safe, reliable method of treating all skin and hair types. Many new treatments for hair reduction or non-permanent hair removal have emerged over the years; electrolysis has remained the only treatment to achieve permanent and complete eradication of unwanted hair when performed by a skilled, experienced practitioner.

For those who seek complete and permanent hair removal , regardless of skin tone or hair colour, there remains only one method that is approved by the British Medical Association – electrolysis.

The treatment can be adapted to suit each client’s skin, hair and pain threshold. No type or volume of body hair is too stubborn for treatment.

The first sign that electrolysis treatment is working is that the hair growth becomes softer, finer and lighter in colour. You will see and feel the difference throughout the course of treatment, so you do not have to wait until the end of your course to see a difference.

At Bonita Beauty we base each treatment on time. After a consultation we can determine whether you shall need 15minutes or 30minutes of electrolysis.

Following treatment clients will be given strict aftercare instructions to adhere to in order to support the electrolysis treatment.

Not only Hair Removal…Electrolysis also treats-

Milia Removal

Milia treatment is very quick and easy using electrolysis. Milia treatment is performed using the Short Wave Diathermy or Thermolysis current. The energy created desiccates the hard fatty tissue, instantly breaking it down and allowing it to disperse into the body.

Red Vein Treatment

Thread veins are tiny blood vessels which run close to the surface of the skin and look like fine red, or sometimes purple, wiggly lines. They’re also sometimes called ‘spider veins’ or ‘broken veins’, although the veins aren’t infact broken but only slightly enlarged. The medical term for them is telangiectasia.
